Fing - Network Scanner App Reviews

No matter what your question. I only have one thing to say "Fing Account Corrupted. Fixing....". I still have 4 stars because its an awesome app. Unfortunately the update two versions back introduced this interesting bug. Please fix. Tried to contact support via my phone. That proved fruitless.

I tried several network apps and lost money on some, Fing amazingly is free and is a quality product. Updates come often too. App does what it advertises.

Great for finding devices on my network

I am a network security analyst, and I use this utility for checking client networks for authorized users. It is very helpful.

Very gooooood

At first I thought the Fing app was just a fun thing to have. Id open it once it awhile to verify that yes, we really do have 36 network devices in our home. This Thanksgiving, though, at a relatives house, I was asked to troubleshoot why a computer wasnt able to print to the wireless printer. With Fing, I was able to determine that while the printer was on and functioning, it was not connected to the network. A few minutes later, everything was working, and everyone thought I was a genius.

I often need to know if an unresponsive device on my network is connected or if it had dropped off. Fing never has failed to detect a connected device, which allows me to determine if it is disconnected or merely unresponsive and to ping the device. I know I am just scratching its surface and that it is a lot more powerful than I can appreciate, but, for my purposes, it just works.

Being a IT professional I use this app all the time either when Im offsite at a remote location and trying to troubleshoot a issue or in the office trying to locate a device by MAC address this app has never let me down. A+ to the developer.

Great, But I would like to have.A better description of what type of device/devices are accessing my wifi.

I love this program! This full featured program is my go to app for network Diags. A friend recommended this to me and am glad I got it! My only wish is that when printing a network, it would be nice to print all of the screen pages rather than just one, or maybe ask I cant recommend this app enough! Super job!!
