It is a great tool to monitor raw connections.
Love this app and its ease of usage.
With the latest update of iOS, its become unstable. Crashes every time I open it, even after restarting my iPad Pro.
So simple to use and very convenient! No long instructions or un-decipherable algorithms. I love my Fing!
I dont do review but this is just to wrong to pass.
This app is very functional and easy to use. Best of all though is their support... They are awesome!!! Working with them on this app is a pleasure.
By far, the most thorough app I have seen for network identity.
App gives incorrect names for devices. My router (AirPort) is always incorrectly labeled as another device on my network.
Ive been using this for years now :)
Bought a few apps lately that are so unprofessional and dont deliver what they claimed to be. This one does. Its perfectly designed and just works.
Finally an App that does what it says. Simple to use everything at your finger tips. Has allowed me to troubleshoot and fix my problem without power cycling all my devices. Thank you-Good job!
Very easy to use and shows everyone using my network
Better than the rest
I love being able to see what is on my networks home and at work
Effortless and works!
This app has an attractive, clear design, and seems to work well. It offers two main functionalities: a local network scanner, and a tool for gathering information about a remote host. Currently, it is able to look up the IP address, ping and portscan remote hosts, but it would probably be easy to add more tools (for example, WHOIS lookup) in future. Additional functionality may be available (i.e. email alerts) if you sign up for an account with Fing. The local network scanner allows you to assign names and icons to devices. The usefulness of this feature, however, is limited by the fact that assigned names and icons are lost if the network configuration changes: if you re-scan and Fing discovers that the number of devices on the network has changed (because a device has joined or left the network), then Fing considers it a new network, and promptly forgets all the names and icons you assigned. It also creates a new entry under the My Networks tab. Its unclear why it needs to do this: because MAC addresses are unique, it should be trivial to associate a name/icon to a device permanently.
Great new update. Continues to improve.
I find I use this app to quickly identify whats on a network. This then enables me to locate routers and servers for troubleshooting purposes when working on a new site
I found a rec for this app online when I was looking for a solution to a connection problem I was having. It does exactly what it advertises with a really easy user interface. And best of all, its free!
